These are recordings sent to me from Ember a year ago. He was part of the hip-hop group DAWN NAUTS. These are from the late 90's/early 2000 era i believe, as the group was a pioneer for Maine Hip-Hop. Ember was a skilled lyricist and I've always compared his style to the likes of Aesop Rock or El-P but with more edge.
He was also the scene's most prolific graffiti artist, making flyers/logos/murals along with getting up anywhere he could. Like he always said "It's all about the letters!"

This is just here to share his music and hear his voice as he recently passed. We'll miss you homie, put a burner on heavens gate!
